Terms and Conditions
Airport Parking Service B.V., trading as Airport Parking Service, based at Luchthavenweg 12, Badhoevedorp, the Netherlands. These terms apply to all valet parking services.
Article 1 – Definitions
A customer is any natural person or legal entity who makes a booking. A vehicle is any motor vehicle entrusted to Airport Parking Service.
Article 2 – Applicability
These terms apply to all bookings, quotations, agreements and services. Deviations are only valid if confirmed in writing.
Article 3 – Formation of the agreement
The agreement comes into effect as soon as a booking is confirmed, or as soon as the vehicle is actually handed over.
Article 4 – Services
The services include collecting, driving, parking, storing, moving and returning vehicles on behalf of airport travellers.
Article 5 – Customer obligations
The customer guarantees that they are authorised to hand over the vehicle, that the vehicle is insured and in a technically safe condition.
Article 6 – Vehicle inspection
Upon receipt and delivery, photos, videos, mileage readings and inspection reports may be recorded. These records may serve as evidence.
Article 7 – Personal belongings
Valuable items should be removed from the vehicle. Items left behind remain entirely at the customer's own risk.
Article 8 – Vehicle use
The customer grants permission for necessary use of the vehicle between the handover point, the parking location and the drop-off location.
Article 9 – Damage reports
Damage must be reported immediately upon delivery, or in writing within 24 hours at the latest. Repairs may only take place after an investigation has been possible.
Article 10 – Liability
Airport Parking Service is only liable for direct damage demonstrably caused by its actions. Liability is limited to the amount paid out by the insurance.
Article 11 – Exclusions
There is no liability for consequential damage, flight costs, hotel costs, loss of revenue, replacement transport or other indirect damage.
Article 12 – Theft and vandalism
Reasonable security measures are taken, but no guarantee is given against criminal acts by third parties.
Article 13 – Loss of keys
In the event of lost keys, we act in accordance with legal obligations and available insurance coverage.
Article 14 – Electric vehicles
No liability is accepted for charge status, software updates, battery degradation or loss of range.
Article 15 – Fines
Fines caused by staff are borne by Airport Parking Service. Other fines remain the customer's responsibility.
Article 16 – Force majeure
Traffic congestion, strikes, weather conditions, airport measures, technical faults and government intervention are considered force majeure.
Article 17 – Cancellations
Cancellations and changes are processed in accordance with the booking policy and any applicable platform terms.
Article 18 – Extra costs
Waiting time, night surcharges, extended parking periods and urgent trips may be invoiced additionally.
Article 19 – Right of retention
In the event of outstanding claims, the vehicle may be held until full payment has been made.
Article 20 – GDPR and camera surveillance
Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR. Camera footage may be used for security and evidentiary purposes.
Article 21 – Complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing. Airport Parking Service is given a reasonable period to investigate.
Article 22 – Dutch law
Dutch law exclusively applies to all agreements.
Article 23 – Competent court
Disputes are submitted to the competent Dutch court.
Article 24 – Final provisions
If a provision proves invalid, the remaining provisions remain fully in effect.
Appendix A – Vehicle inspection and liability statement
By booking or handing over the vehicle, the customer declares to agree to the vehicle inspection, photo and video recording, damage procedure, camera surveillance and the terms and conditions.
